Twilight Stroll
The Greater Shepparton on the Moove Twilight Stroll is a community event that encourages families to enjoy a night out with their community at no cost.
Participants register for the stroll at two locations and undertake a 2km stroll through bush land to SPC Ardmona KidsTown.
Upon arrival at KidsTown participants enjoy the following:
- Children's entertainment including jumping castle, face painting, miniature train rides and the 5 HA of play space provided at KidsTown.
- Music entertainment by local acts.
- A healthy options BBQ tea including veggie burgers, which is quite a surprising hit to many families.
- Fresh Fruit provided by local orchards.
- Shuttle bus returns families to their cars, if the kids are too exhausted to take the stroll back.
- Hydration water station
The next stroll is scheduled for Friday 26th February 2010.
Some new things have been added to the Twilight Stroll, with:
- Finer Fruits getting on board to provide a fresh fruit stall for that healthy snack after tea. Finer Fruits will also be bringing along "Aussie Apple"!
- Premier Soccer will have their massive inflatable soccer pitch for kids to have a kick and play some games.
- GV Health will provide free adult health checks.
