Public Health Plan
The Greater Shepparton City Council has adopted the Greater Shepparton Public Health Plan 2006-2008. The Health Plan identifies the public health needs of the community, and strategies aimed at:
- promoting health and wellbeing
- preventing disease
- prolonging life
Launched during Rural Health Week in May 2006, the health plan embodies a three year implementation program.
Copies of the Health Plan and the summary brochure are available on request from the Council office in Welsford Street, Shepparton.
